Chatham is situated in the west wing of Bosloe House, the oldest part of the building, built in 1903. Its elegant Arts and Crafts style interiors are complemented by views across rolling lawns and the Helford River. The ground floor has been remodelled to make it fully accessible for visitors using wheelchairs.

Rise early and after breakfast, make the short one mile walk to the beautiful Glendurgan Garden, a large exotic garden, with lots of fascinating nooks and crannies to explore. Sunny, south-facing beach, Durgan, is just a few minutes from the house. 

Further afield, head to Falmouth, just 10 miles away from the cottage. This pretty port town has a number of local attractions including Pendennis Castle, Trebah and Falmouth Art Gallery. 

Chatham is joined to Bosveal (sleeps 10) and Court (sleeps 10) and is a short walk from The Apple Store (sleeps two). They can be booked together.

Ground floor layout

Hall, large sitting/dining room with wood burner, kitchen, cloakroom with lavatory, one double bedroom (which can also be a twin on request) with en-suite wet room suitable for use by disabled visitors.

First floor layout

Three bedrooms (one double with 5' feature bed and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, two twins which can also be doubles on request), bathroom with shower over bath.

Induction hob: Please note there is an induction hob at this cottage. Guests with pacemakers are advised to check with their doctor to ensure there will be no interference with their pacemaker. Guests with pacemakers are also advised to keep a distance of at least 60cm (2ft) from the hob when cooking.

Heating: Gas central heating electricity.

Parking: There is limited parking at the property so vehicles are restricted to three per booking.

Garden: The three cottages at Bosloe benefit from a large shared garden.

*WiFi: This is now available, but please note that intermittent connection problems can sometimes occur and should not be relied upon. We are pleased to provide free WiFi at this cottage which is supported by BT.

Please Note: Please be aware the Helford River beach at Durgan is not a designated beach for bathing.
